Altar Guild

                    Welcome to the Altar Guild:

The ministry of the Altar Guild is to the glory of God. It is God’s house and the Lord’s Table that Altar Guild members are asked to prepare and maintain. Through the Altar Guild members’ work, the people will know their church is a holy place, a place where God is honored.  It is also a ministry to one another. Members of the Altar Guild are called to care for one another as a community. The work done should be satisfying and joyful.

Altar Guild members are assigned a team and a worship service (8:00 or 10:30)depen ding on the  se  r vice  you regularly attend. Teams are committed to 3 Sundays on and 3 Sundays off.  The team sets up for each service on Satur d ay mornings.  We also meet monthly with our Vicar or Deacon to plan services, share ideas, and information. 

Assistant Altar guild members can help with Sunday clean up responsibilities after the service they attend (10 - 15 min.) with no other committment expected.
